NO Motorized Vehicles Permitted in HOA Common Areas!!!
Absolutely NO motorized vehicles are permitted to be operated in the HOA common areas.
This includes the land where the AEP power lines are located. These
type of vehicles (dirt bikes, ATVs, trucks, etc.) cause damage to the
landscape and are a nuisance to the homeowners in the area.
Recently
quite a bit of activity has been observed regarding dirt bikes, trucks,
and ATVs riding on the power line land. The HOA has begun to take
action against the known responsible parties who live within our
subdivision. We will be posting signs expressly prohibiting motorized
vehicles in that area as soon as possible. Future action can/will then include involving law enforcement and taking criminal and/or civil action, especially if the offending party has already been politely asked to cease!
If
anyone has information regarding the parties who are operating dirt
bikes, ATVs, etc in the HOA common areas, please forward it to the
trustee email address. As always, all information reported will be
treated anonymously.
UPDATE: The "No Motorized Vehicles" signs have been installed. If you notice someone operating motorized vehicles on the power line land, please contact the sheriff. Anyone found in violation of the posted signs will now be prosecuted.
